Documents Authentication

  • Authentication of documents emanating from Ghana e.g. for Marriage, Education, Birth and  Divorce Certificates, Drivers License etc. must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in Ghana, before they are brought to the Ghana Embassy in Harare for authentication. Original documents must be presented before copies can be endorsed.
  • In the case of documents being sent to Ghana from Harare, applicants are required to have their documents endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Trade of the Republic of Zimbabwe before they are brought to the Ghana Embassy for legalization.
  • A fee of 20.00 USD is charged for Authentication/Legalization
  • Payment for Passports, Travel Certificates and other consular services should be made to the Ghana Embassy Account below.
